Oh Boy.

For the past couple of days I’ve been working on a few different things.  The big one being the FAFSA so I can hopefully get something out of it this year. I’ve decided that the University of Phoenix Online is the route I intend to take for school.  I’m going in for Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/Multimedia and Visual Communication.  It’s 120 credits and like $45,000.  The first sixty credits are the Bachelor of Science, the remaining 60 are the focus in Multimedia and Visual Communication.  So it’s safe to say that once I get rolling with everything, I’ll be pretty busy for the next year or so (as far as school is concerned.)

I picked up a few freelance jobs this past week so I’ve been busy with those.  I’ve had to create a few Wordpress Plugins that weren’t readily available.  One was a basic Javascript, the other was an email thing that I just couldn’t find anywhere else.  I like coming up with new and interesting things, it keeps my mind working.  Something I desperately need these days considering how tired I’ve been.

I think it’s the constant up and down with the weather, but I’ve been feeling under the weather so that really isn’t helping me too much.  One day it’s 90*F the next it’s 66*F.  Why in holy hell is it bouncing around like this?  Just about everyone is sick, and I’m starting to feel the effects as well.  I’m OK as far as allergies and stuff go, I’m lucky enough to just have a food allergy and not an “allergic to everything” kind of allergy.  Sean’s pretty bad when it comes to the typical dust, pollen and other outdoors kind of allergies, so with the upwind and all the other things going on he’s really not doing too well.  The poor thing can’t breath at all.

In any event, guess it’s time to get back to work.  I’d like to have these projects completed by Sunday and being as it’s officially Friday (about 12:30 AM here) I guess my time is limited.

I am Princess

Dogs - Princess

I start my day the way any dog does. I bark and scratch to get out of the room in the morning. I waddle down the long hallway to find my pee spot. From there I waddle around the kitchen in hopes that food will fall from the sky before Mommy wakes up so I can eat in secret. I then find my way to my living room bed where I wait patiently to hear the tinkling of kibble hitting my food bowl. I eat so quickly that I choke and then drink a gallon of water to give myself that “full” feeling. I typically sleep for the rest of the day, what else is there to do?

I don’t go outside because it’s too cold and the humans in the house think I’m too loud. I’m a lap dog, I prefer to be cuddled up and warm, walking around is for suckers. I’m house trained, but not in the way that pet owners would praise. I use wee-wee pads, and I believe they’re trying to eat me so I will never poop on one, that’s what carpet is for. I will randomly walk around the house to see what’s going on. It’s my goal to make it into Bella’s bedroom one day so I can eat all of her kibble and chew on all of her bones but a long white gate makes it impossible for me to get in there. One day someone will forget to put it down and leave the door open, then I’ll make my move.

Speaking of food - it’s my favorite past-time. There’s nothing I could possibly enjoy more in life. I’m a bit overweight but that doesn’t stop me, neither does my slipped disk. I’ll make a V-line for anything I see and I’ll bark and cry if someone is eating and won’t share with me. I can easily get into things, my nose is long enough. I’ve got my owners trained by chewing on un-eatable things so they’ll reward me with real food. I’m a trickster - yes I am. I sleep most of the day, it’s my second favorite past-time. I need to be under blankets in order to sleep though, I love being warm! I cuddle with anyone who’s willing to hold me for long periods of time. Once you pet me, you’re sucked in. I don’t let you walk away, I love the attention!
